Documents submitted by male applicants who have attained the age of conscription and are citizens of the RA and Artsakh are accepted in the case of a relevant entry in the military records confirming the right to deferment. Where such deferment has been granted in the past due to health conditions, the military records should contain a relevant entry made by the Central Military Medical Commission;
Military identity card and a reference issued by the military commissariat confirming completion of the military service.

ExaminationsCitizens of the RA and Artsakh: July 3-8, 2020Applicants are required to appear in person at both oral and written exams. Remote or online participation in the exams of the conservatory would not be possible.
Entrance Examination subjects
Performance of a musical program and (or) presentation of a notated workThe applicant presents his/her works to demonstrate the level of professional creativity required. Applicants are free to present instrumental, choral or solo works. Time is not limited.
Solfeggio (written)The applicant is required to complete a 3-voice dictation with deviations and modulations. Time allotted: 30 minutes.
Harmony (written)In order to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of classical harmony, the applicant is required to harmonize a melody (20-32 bars) in a period or a simple two-part form, in non-chord tones, with deviations and modulations, diatonic and chromatic sequences, etc. Time allotted: 2 hours.
The criteria for the evaluation of the exam subjects is 20 points, in which:
7 points and below - unsatisfactory
8-12 points - satisfactory
13-17 points - good
18-20 points - excellent
